It was good to be able to support such a worthwhile charity who do much to support women and children fleeing domestic violence.

Our theme was the Suffragette movement as this coffee morning was hosted very close the birth date of Emmeline Pankhurst (15th July 1858).  It therefore, seemed appropriate to raise money for a charity focused on women’s welfare.

We had a small exhibition of WW2 momorabilia, loaned by Mr. Terry Halford. This was all directly connected to the Forest of Dean and in particular Lydbrook and the Cable Works. 

We raised £64.50 for The Royal British Legion

We will show you how to create a beautiful wreath from the base that we provide. Don't worry if you don't aren't creative, we will help you make something beautiful, whatever your skill level.

All materials will be provided, but if you'd like to add in your own decorations please bring them along.

The workshop is on Saturday 30th November between 7.30 - 9pm  and costs £10 and you will be served with a hot drink and a mince pie.
